Working within a structured team and matrix sales process, the Systems Sales Consultant will be a sales consultant to 100+ bed hospitals and IDNs who are considering purchasing or are currently using an IV medication delivery and infusion therapy devices and related monitoring equipment and associated services. The successful candidate will cover the Harrisburg sales territory which includes Central and Eastern Pennsylvania (excluding Philadelphia and surrounding suburbs). Candidates should live in the Harrisburg, PA or south central PA area. Focuses on selling our complex product portfolio to the mid-management level in the hospitals and manages the customer’s buying cycle.

Supports the sales team’s strategic plan and selling activities that are required to bring about full system conversions in competitive and existing accounts.

Develops, implements, and leads short term and long term plans for account expansion on modules, services and related software with existing customers.

Provides support for the Continuous Customer Satisfaction Program process to ensure customer satisfaction and toward achievement of a “Customer for Life.”

Understands and uses the business planning and strategy tools used by the sales force. Updates the Field Sales Automation system on an on-going basis.

CANDIDATES MUST HAVE:

A Bachelor’s degree in business or a technical area. Five years of sales experience with a minimum of three years’ experience selling medical devices, medical products or information technology in a hospital environment. Previous experience with a Fortune 500 company is preferred.

Experience selling health care information technology systems and/or medical capital equipment, and calling on multi-departmental hospital middle management executives. Experience calling at the hospital C-Suite level is highly desirable.

Successfully completed a formal sales training that focused on strategic and consultative selling and territory management.

A demonstrated track record of sales achievements and meeting and/or exceeding sales objectives, a proven ability to follow a disciplined sales model and process, and a stable work history. Previous experience with team selling is preferred.

Strong business acumen and excellent negotiation, influencing, business planning, sales strategy, problem solving and decision making skills.

Excellent oral and written communication and organization and time management skills. Proficiency with MS Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), contact management software, and the Internet.
Salary: $65,000 salary; $135,000 at plan; not capped, abiltiy to earn much more
